Dynamic Solutions is seeking a Water Resources Engineer to work in Jacksonville, Florida.  We seek an experienced engineer who is ready to manage and support complex projects as well as succeed in business development.  Tasks may include hydrodynamic and hydrologic modeling studies; coastal, riverine, and marsh restoration projects; flood damage reduction; water management; navigation; and accompanying project management, oral and written reporting, and client services.  This is a unique opportunity for the right person to lead the expansion of an established and high-level engineering business.


The successful candidate should possess:

  • Master’s Degree or PhD in engineering with a focus on water resources / H&H, plus 10 years of consulting experience
  • Professional Engineer registration, preferably licensed in Florida
  • Excellent writing and presentation skills
  • Proven business development experience
  • Experience with multi-dimensional hydrodynamic models such as EFDC, ADH, DELFT
  • Experience with hydraulic and hydrologic models such as HEC-RAS, HEC-GeoRAS, HEC-HMS, SWMM, HSPF, RSM, ICPR, AutoCAD/Microstation
  • Familiarity with civil design work including preparation of drawings, specifications, cost estimates, and design reports
